Where are you from? I am from France

What rugby clubs have/did you play for? C Hossegor, Tyrosse, St. Paul et Dax, Bordeaux in France, Eastern Province in South Africa, JPS in Brisbane Australia, Beckenham in London, University of Salamanca in Spain, Vail Co, Huntington Beach Unicorns, Chicago South Side Irish and Back Bay Rugby Football Club.

What is your greatest Back Bay moment? I All the moments were great with Back Bay but I think the greatest one will be the year (2009) I was a player/coach with Grant Reynolds and we won the first Southern California Championship in Back Bay's history.

What are you up to now? I am currently living in France where i work and play my second favorite sport after rugby which is 'Pelote Basque'.

Marc Laurre or ‘Frenchy’ as he is known by his Back Bay family, played the game he loved with great passion and had no fear. His style of play opened the door to him playing rugby in some of the best rugby nations in the world. In 2009 he was a player/coach and help lead the Sharks on and off the field to their first Southern California Championship. Frenchy is one of the many colorful characters that have worn the Back Bay shirt and to this day is one of the clubs biggest supports in France and throughout the world.
